Pennsburg United Church of Christ

OUR STORY

Our Story

Pennsburg UCC began over 175 years ago as a German Reformed Congregation.

Today, we are a small congregation with a big heart for our members and our local community. We consider ourselves a family-table church, which means everything we do is in an effort to create meaningful connections with one another and transformational encounters with Jesus Christ, and we find that many of the best encounters happen around the table -- be it the dinner table, the meeting table, or the communion Table.

Our members faithfully support the hungry in our community with their gifts of food to The Open Line's food pantry. With their quarters, our children support our partnership with Heifer International, helping to transform the lives of four or five families each year.

We love all people and strive to welcome and include everyone in our community as we grow in faith together. We offer inspiring worship services, Sunday school for all ages, and a variety of other ways for people to participate in the church’s ministry. We minister to our aging members and regularly engage with other local churches in cooperative projects.

We are a church who believes strongly in the life-changing power of relationships, and we can’t wait to meet you!
